This Kit contains everything you need to coat around 750 touch points * which includes:
- 150ml Prep Fluid Degreaser
- 2 x Microfibre Cloths
- 250ml PLUS+ Rapid Cure
- 2 x Microfibre Applicator Pads
- 1 x pair of latex gloves
- Instruction Leaflet
*(based on one touch point having an average surface area of 0.025 square meters, total coverage per 250ml bottle is approx. 19 square meters).
Incorporating Biomaster® silver ion technology, these coatings offer the same performance of the original Aqueous Guard® ceramic coating, but with the added benefit of reducing bacteria and virus levels on the surface.
The Aqueous Guard® PLUS+ Rapid Cure is the perfect solution for continuous long lasting results,with an expected lifetime of 3 years (varies dependant on low and high traffic areas).
Built-in Trace Technology
Both of these coatings have built-in tracer technology, allowing detection of the coating on the surface to highlight the need for re-application as and when required using specialist laser pens. As the Biomaster® technology is effective for the lifetime of the coating being able to detect the coating on the surface allows us to determine the antimicrobial element of the coating is still present and therefore still fully effective wherever the coating is detected.
How It Works
Aqueous Guard® PLUS+ and PLUS+ Rapid Cure have three modes of action. When bacteria lands on an Aqueous Guard® PLUS+ protected surface, they are prevented from growing, producing energy or replicating therefore they die off. The Biomaster® technology within the coating binds to the cell wall, disrupting growth. The Biomaster® then interferes with enzyme production, stopping the cell producing energy. Finally, Biomaster® interrupts the cell’s DNA preventing replication.
Effective against Bacteria
In typical tests to ISO 22196:2011 standard, Biomaster® reduced levels of E.coli MRSA, Listeria, Legionella, Salmonella, Campylobacter and Staphylococcus aureus by more than 99%.
The coating has now been tested to ISO 21702:2019 against SARS-COV-2 (the cause of COVID-19) and shown to reduce SARS-COV-2 by more than 73.7% in just 2 hours compared to the control sample.
